Amelia Barry Interiors is a Melbourne Interior Designer. With a studio born from the recognition that beautifully designed homes improve the lives of the people residing within their walls. Launched in 2018, we have collaborated with clients on a range of residential projects in Melbourne and Sydney, designing homes and spaces that are understated and sophisticated while being a true reflection of the clients and the lives they lead.
We bring our experience to bear with high-end design to create effortless, cohesive, and balanced homes, whether as new builds, renovations or interior decoration projects. Our team of talented practitioners is lead by our founder, Amelia Barry, who ensures every detail of every aspect of every project is taken care of, for a calm and seamless experience for our clients from start to completion.
About Amelia Barry
With two small boys in tow, Amelia’s own home reflects her need for peace and calm for her little family - an oasis to return to every day. A strong believer in the relationship between wellbeing and lived environment, Amelia applies this principle to her own life and the homes and spaces she creates for her clients.
In order for a house to feel like a home, we need to have that sense of both the familiar and the new. This juxtaposition is what excites Amelia as a designer, an appreciation which perhaps stems from her classical history education beginning through to her eye for future directions in residential art and design.
Each client Amelia has the joy to work with brings their own stories to the table, their past and their anticipated future, and she considers it a privilege to reveal refined and timeless spaces which bring those stories to life.
